The conference starts on Sunday night, and we’re excited to see all of you there. Below is information you need to know, plus links for events that require pre-registration. Give it a read now, and save it for reference later.Show up ready to chat about: What you’d like to learn at The Lean Startup Conference. Advice you have to share with other conference attendees.Know the conference schedule, including things that require pre-registration.Sunday, December 8:  Ignite is at the Fairmont Hotel at 7pm. Open to all ticket holders. Pick up your badge at the Fairmont, outside the Gold Room on the lobby level.Monday, December 9:  Main conference sessions start at 9am at the Nob Hill Masonic Center and continue in the afternoon at the Fairmont Hotel. Pick up your badge at the Masonic Center. Your lunch at the Masonic Center is covered by us. But if you prefer, there are food trucks on Taylor Street by Huntington Park. If you choose food trucks, you must pick up a meal ticket for $15 at the Masonic Center; the trucks cannot handle cash. The meal ticket table is on the mezzanine level at the Masonic Center. Afternoon Office Hours with mentors and some speakers are at the Fairmont Hotel. Sign up ahead of time for one-on-one 10-minute conversations; beware: the site loads slowly. (You can also try to catch people spontaneously in the Office Hours room, but pre-registered appointments will be honored first.) Our closing session is at the Masonic Center. Our reception, sponsored by Pivotal Labs, is at the Fairmont Hotel’s Tonga Room, 6:15 - 7:45pm. Peer-to-peer networking is in the room next door. Small group dinners at Estia, each table focused on a different Lean Startup theme. Pre-registration required; here’s where you sign up. Pre-registration required; here’s where you sign up.Wednesday, December 11: You can choose among a variety of hands-on workshops at the Fairmont Hotel and startup site visits around San Francisco. Most workshops are half-day sessions, so you can mix and match (go to a workshop in the morning and two site visits in the afternoon; or go to two workshops; or attend all four site visits). Janice Fraser’s is the only all-day workshop (it was among our most popular last year). You do not need to pre-register for workshops.   You do need to pre-register for site visits. There is a limit to the number of people for each site, so we ask that you sign up only if you are committed to going. When last we checked, however, the Stanford Court and Mark Hopkins, both across the street from the Fairmont, had rooms available. You might also consider Airbnb or Priceline. Travel to the conference:The Masonic Center is located at 1111 California Street (cross street is Taylor), SF, 94108, and the Fairmont Hotel is at 950 Mason St, one block from the Masonic Center. The closest BART stop is the Powell Station, 10 blocks away--and down a steep hill. You can take a cable car or taxi up the hill, or consider a car service like Uber or Lyft. We do not recommend driving, as the nearby garages are pricey and have limited spaces--but some of you like a challenge. You can find parking options here.
