Humanocracy: Creating Organizations as Amazing as the People Inside Them

I'm a strong believer in people-centered organizations, which is why today, I want to draw your attention to Gary Hamel and Michele Zanini's new book, Humanocracy. They're the co-founders of the Management Lab, which builds technology and tools for management innovation. Gary also teaches at the London Business School and is the author of a number of other books including The Future of Management and What Matters Now.

Humanocracy serves as a foundation for a new and growing movement in business that puts people, not bureaucracy, at the center of organizations. It's about why it's so important to build dynamic, inventive companies focused on helping everyone within them to flourish. It's also about how to it, and how to run them once they're established. I've seen so many great organizations, even those with the best of intentions, hamstrung by their own bureaucracy. If we really want to change that reality, this book is an ideal place to start. I couldn't agree more with the authors' assertion that "we need to find ways to turn up the entrepreneurial flame in every organization."

When you order the book, you also get early access to the authors' online course Humanocracy: Hack My Org. It's a powerful collection of tools and information designed to bring innovation, flexibility, and people-centered structures to any organization.
