Incorruptible: Why Good Companies Go Bad…

and How Great Companies Stay Great

Available for pre-order at incorruptible.co

Independent bookstores are important. They’re a form of what I call civic infrastructure – organizations that facilitate the flourishing of other institutions and communities by creating beneficial constraints and building shared trust and connection. I treasure them whenever I have a chance to wander their aisles.

They’re also under tremendous pressure these days, thanks to multiple megatrends that are crashing over them like waves on sandcastles. So as I launch my new book, I've been looking for ways to support the indies. Books depend on passionate early adopters and early word of mouth to succeed. Independent bookstores are owned and staffed by exactly the kind of people who understand that and are devoted to championing their favorite titles.

That’s why I’m asking you to celebrate with with me on tomorrow on Independent Bookstore Day.

If you’re a US reader, please show some support for your local independent bookstore tomorrow by visiting them to preorder your copy of Incorruptible. Many indie bookstores have fun experiences planned, too.

If you’re ready to pre-order but can’t get to your local bookstore tomorrow, you can find Incorruptible on bookshop.org, which is currently matching Amazon’s pricing. Your purchase there will provide direct financial support to local bookstores (you can choose a specific store or contribute to a profit sharing pool that helps all the indies the company supports).

Thanks for being part of ensuring these important community institutions are here for the long-term.

Eric
